My kids have been brought up watching a kids entertainers group called The Singing Kettle. This group have spent many a year convincing the children of Scotland that kettles have magical mystical powers.
It would seem someone in Malaysia has seen their videos and took the concept one step further
The Sky Kingdom sect is noted for building a giant teapot to symbolise its belief in the healing purity of water, and also the healing powers of kettles.
State religious authorities have outlawed the teapot sect as a deviant cult.
Clearly they are all bonkers

Todays papers are reporting that Tony Blair has spent more than £1800 on make up since coming into power.
Most unlike Tony to be accused of any kind of cover up let alone one for his face!
No doubt once Tony is ejected from office we can look forward to his own line of makeup for men. Fake tan to be top of the list no doubt

Big words from a guy living 400 miles away? Not at all these attacks are not just attacks on London, but on every major city in the west. These attacks will no doubt carry on. Suicide bombings now seem the method of choice for causing maximum fear.

Very sad news, Doohans character of Scotty was my favourite from the original series of Star Trek.
The writers got the Scottish persona spot on and Doohans accent was (for a Canadian) excellent. One of my favourite quotes from Scotty is below:
Kirk: How much refit time until we can take her out again?
Scott: Eight weeks, sir. But you don't have eight weeks, so I'll do it for you in 2.
Kirk: Mr. Scott, have you always multiplied your repair estimates by 4?
Scott: Certainly, sir. How else can I keep my reputation as a miracle worker?

Lets Get Naked
Spencer Tunik is know for his "installations", or translated as "photos of naked folk oot on the toon".Now the thought of hundreds of naked Geordie women scares me, but there is something liberating about the thought of strolling along the High Street in Falkirk with all my essentails blowing in the breeze!
Anyway a BBC journalist joins Spencer in his latest "installation" in Newcastle, all fine but describing it as a "culturally historic event"? Yeah right, I'll remember that as the police lift me from the High Street.....

The recent bombings in London showed once again that terrorism can affect us all. As our thoughts remian with friends and families of those killed as they went about their daily life a new resilience has been found across the world to stand up to those who choose to attack our freedom.
